Our summer party for the administration was a complete success! We were in high spirits, laughing together, playing fun games, and enjoying delicious food. It was a wonderful day focused on togetherness, and we had a great time.

On Friday, March 28, 2025, we were represented at the BerufsAusbildungsMesse (BAM) in Mindelheim. From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the fair offered registered schools from the region the opportunity to learn about various apprenticeships and degree programs. From 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the fair was open to all interested parties and parents.

BAM #hybrid 2025 offered over 200 training options and enabled visitors to learn about different professions and companies, learn about degree programs, and make valuable contacts.

We would like to thank all visitors for their interest and the stimulating discussions at our booth, and we look forward to future events and to meeting our new colleagues!

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, around 50 of our trainees and students, along with their trainers and student representatives, visited Bauma 2025 in Munich. The bus ride began with a well-stocked lunch and snack bags.

After arrival, the event began with an exciting tour of the Wirtgen company. Afterwards, our young professionals explored the exhibition grounds in small groups as part of an interactive quiz – which required not only knowledge but also teamwork.

A special thank you goes to Doka, who kindly sponsored both the attractive prizes for the winners and the participants.

On Friday, February 14, 2025, we were present at the "Technician's Day" in Kempten. Together with our subsidiaries Grundbau and Xaver Riebel, we were able to offer numerous students from the Allgäu Technical College (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and civil engineering), the FOS/BOS Mechatronics, and other interested parties exciting insights into our work and career opportunities.

We would like to thank you for your great interest and the many interesting conversations! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with future professionals.

This year our trainees again visited the IT security fair (ITSA) in Nürnberg together with their colleagues from the IT department!

The event was extremely informative and inspiring. It presented an impressive range of innovations in the field of IT security solutions and offered the trainees the opportunity to gather comprehensive information about the latest trends and developments in the IT industry.

Through the specialist presentations and discussions with the experts, the trainees were able to deepen their knowledge of IT security.

We are already looking forward to next year!

With our innovative solution for safe access to troughs, we're entering the race for the German Occupational Safety Award from BG RCI. The creative mind behind this idea is Thomas Rauch. Together with ILLER LEITER and purchasing, we're currently working on the final optimization.

We'll soon start the practical phase, in which we'll put our solution through its paces and refine it further if necessary. We're convinced that this idea has the potential to take occupational safety to a new level – and we hope that the jury sees it that way too.

The application is in process, now it's time to keep your fingers crossed!

We look back on two great days at the training fair in Kaufering at the end of September.

Together with our subsidiary Xaver Riebel, we had the opportunity on the first evening to introduce young people and their parents to the diverse training opportunities in the field of civil and road construction, building materials testing and all of Xaver Riebel's structural engineering professions in a relaxed atmosphere.

The next day was all about the "stamp attack", where the young people could collect a stamp for each career advice session. In numerous inspiring conversations, we got to know great people and are looking forward to seeing what impressive personalities will start their professional lives in 2026.

It is particularly gratifying that these encounters have already resulted in several internships that took place during the autumn holidays.

Last week our new trainees were able to get started together with the trainees from Riebel and marbeton at the trainee team days in Nesselwang - the perfect start to their training!
There were many exciting activities on the program that not only strengthened team spirit, but also cooperation and communication:

1. Laying tiles:
From scattered starting positions, the trainees built a bridge to the finish together. A great start where cooperation was the key.

2. Place the bottle:
Who can place the bottle the furthest away? First alone, then in pairs and finally as a large team of eight. Here it became clear: without good coordination you won't get far!

3. Road construction with a view:
After a short climb, we asphalted a road together in four columns. Everyone had a clear task - but success was only possible with perfect team coordination.

4. Highlight of the day:
Building a rope bridge, like last year. The trainers also dared to cross it and had complete faith in the work of our trainees!

These days have shown: Together we are strong - and our trainees are well prepared for the challenges ahead!

From March 4th to 8th, 2024, the road builders' project week took place in the training and further education center of the Donauries Building Guild in Nördlingen. This week offered the trainees – like our Jens – a unique opportunity to expand their skills and deepen their working techniques in order to lay the foundation for possible participation in performance competitions and to advance their professional development.

The highlight was the open day, where the trainees presented their work and the trainers, like our Markus Lobner, exchanged ideas with the training team.

The week was a rewarding experience for Jens and his colleagues, which not only expanded their specialist knowledge, but also made important contacts and promoted their professional development.

Regular meetings of our managers promote communication and coordination between department heads and management in order to advance projects and make decisions efficiently, involving all areas.

At our first meeting this year, we got off to a dynamic start to the 2024/25 financial year with the topic of “Putting speed on the road”. With great enthusiasm we were able to experience the insights from our sponsor partner Intact GP into the world of racing teams and organizations, which enabled us to symbolically assign our topics.

We agree that various factors must also come together for our KUTTER races: starting with a precise target and time setting, through the use of the most modern machines and equipment, to the availability of appropriate budgets. Pit stops will be essential, not only to correct possible incorrect settings, but also to take strategic breaks and regroup forces. And of course an outstanding driver is essential - someone who not only knows his craft, but also has a high level of willingness to take risks and knows his machine down to the last detail.

At this point we would like to say a big thank you to our host and company owner Stefan Keckeisen from Keckeisen Accumulators.

Let us continue to move forward with this energy and motivation and overcome the challenges of this year together.

On Friday, February 23, 2024, we were represented together with Xaver Riebel at the “Technician Day” at the Allgäu Technical School in Kempten.

The trade fair offered an excellent platform for students from the Allgäu Technical School in the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering and mechatronics courses at FOS/BOS. All other visitors interested in technology also got their money's worth.

We had the opportunity to connect with passionate students and industry professionals, exchange ideas and forge potential partnerships.

Ladies and Gentlemen

Another challenging year will soon come to an end and we wish you a relaxing and peaceful holiday with your family and friends.
We thank you very much for your trust and look forward to continued good cooperation in the new year.

As in previous years, we are forgoing Christmas presents this year and are instead donating to various regional, non-profit organizations such as:

• the children's hospice in Allgäu e.V., Bad Grönenbach,
• the Children's Bridge Allgäu e.V., Kempten,
• the parental support for children with cancer Leipzig e.V. and
• the German Child Protection Association District Association Bamberg e.V.

The A+A, the world's largest trade fair for safety and health at work, took place in Düsseldorf at the end of October. Ms. Lerchenmüller and Mr. Krause from the Safety & Environment department took the opportunity to gather new impressions, follow product trends and make contacts.

One of the things that was very interesting was the personal security solution “AngelClip” from Adresys. The AngelClip update enables device binding on smartphones and allows connection to multiple devices. A new long-range reception facility is planned to bridge areas with poor reception. In addition, exoskeletons from Ottobock and Hunic can support various regions of the body, including the lumbar spine, back, wrist and neck. Other products such as thumb supports, cooling bandages and knee pads were also presented.

The DGUV presented an ideas mobile for action days on various safety topics and gave lectures on reversing assistance systems and accident numbers in connection with truck crashes. The “sam” software for occupational safety instruction is planning new functions such as the safety avatar and visual hazard inspections.

EGYM Wellpass presented statistics showing that exercising after work reduces alcohol consumption among employees. E.COOLINE presented a wide range of cooling clothing, including headscarves for use under helmets. KASK Helm offered the lower helmet "Zenit" for building construction and MARTOR presented a new fist-grip knife with a retractable blade.

Contour showed height-adjustable tables and ergonomic mouse solutions for modern office design. Fitseat presented table bikes that can be used as short-term workstations. Baua presented the new EMKG app, which gives companies an overview of risks.

The variety of innovative products and solutions in the field of safety and health at work was very impressive and inspiring and will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our future projects.

On Sunday, September 17th, 2023, the 24th Memmingen Old Town Run took place in the most beautiful late summer weather. Many Memmingen companies took part in this popular sporting event again. We at KUTTER also competed with our running team organized by Jürgen Knorr. For the first time we had Janina Kausch, a runner from our subsidiary RAZ, with us.

In incredibly hot temperatures, everyone gave their best and very good results were achieved, for example by Ricarda Ettmüller, who achieved an excellent second place in her age group. In the overall ranking of the company teams, we also achieved 10th and 32nd place out of a total of 43 teams.

Afterwards we rounded off a very nice and successful day with cool drinks and a lot of fun.

The Swabian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) recently voted and is thus setting up new regional assemblies.
Our managing director, Ulrich Dick, will from now on represent the interests of the economy in Memmingen and in the Unterallgäu as a new member from the industry with other representatives.
He would like to actively support the needs and concerns of the chamber members and thus have a positive influence on regional economic activity.
His ideas for the region include the promotion of educational opportunities, good legal and economic framework conditions for companies and entrepreneurship and job security.

We congratulate Mr. Dick on winning the election and wish him every success as a representative of business in Memmingen and Unterallgäu!

When it comes to attracting outstanding professors, scientists, specialists and executives, the compatibility of work and family in the region plays a particularly important role. Therefore, the professional prospects of the accompanying partner should also be guaranteed when moving and is not least decisive for deciding on a job.

With the Dual Career Network Swabia, an association of the universities in Neu-Ulm, Kempten, Biberach, the Technical University of Ulm and the University of Ulm, a regional service for the partners of professors, scientists as well as specialists and executives is now available for the first time. Two weeks ago we were guests at the school festival of the Lindenschule Memmingen. As part of the programme, the students and their parents had the opportunity to take part in various tasks and stations. Various companies were also represented and the students were able to demonstrate their manual dexterity.

We were very pleased about the numerous visits to our booth at the Pyramid careers fair in Augsburg.

The trade fair visitors were not only able to find out about the best way to start a career, but also about student assignments as interns or working students and the different possibilities for the bachelor thesis.

We had many great conversations and are also pleased that you are visiting our careers section here on the website. There you will find all further information on the subject of studies and careers at KUTTER.

Yesterday we were at the Munich University of Applied Sciences at the career fair VHK Career Forum BAU!

More than 300 students from the construction industry from various universities from all over Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg were on site and were able to find out about the best way to start a career. Demand was also high on the subject of student assignments as interns or working students and the various options for the bachelor’s thesis.

We had many great conversations and are happy about the lively interest in KUTTER.

In March, the trainers of all training professions from KUTTER go to a trainers' day in the conference hotel.

The priority was the exchange of experiences and the promotion of independent professional action in order to make our trainees fit for everyday working life.

The coaching focused on what it takes to successfully design the training for our trainees and what communication channels are needed.

The participants obviously had fun and we are sure that the common sense of togetherness was strengthened.

To create optimal synergies and enhance expertise, we will merge and realign our turnkey construction division and our subsidiary Riebel Generalunternehmer GmbH & Co. KG under the umbrella of KUTTER Bauunternehmung, effective May 1, 2023. Our subsidiary for structural work, Xaver Riebel Bauunternehmung GmbH & Co. KG, will not be affected.

For business reasons and due to economic considerations, KUTTER Umwelt & Recycling GmbH & Co. KG will cease operations on April 30, 2023. Remaining work will be completed under the umbrella of KUTTER Bauunternehmung, and the soil stabilization and KMA processes will be restructured.

A few weeks ago we were able to welcome classes 7a and 7bM from the Türkheim middle school to our training workshop in Mindelheim for the construction rally.

The students had the opportunity to get to know the activities of our apprenticeships within the KUTTER Group at individual stations and to demonstrate their manual skills.

As part of this construction rally, the classes worked together to produce benches for their schoolyard. We were now able to hand over these benches and wish the students many nice breaks on them!

A few weeks ago, as part of the winter school, our KUTTER and RIEBEL trainees realized a project for our cooperation partner, the Mindelheim middle school, in their playground: As reported, the old fountain was removed to create an outdoor chess board for the students.

In order to be able to use this now, we, as a cooperation partner, have donated the appropriate chess pieces.

The handover took place yesterday and on this occasion the benches created during the last construction rally found their place in the playground.

We wish the students a lot of fun with it!

Our KUTTER running team once again did a great job at the 2023 half marathon in Ottobeuren. The run took place in Ottobeuren for the eleventh time this year and is integrated for the first time as a kick-off event in the LEW running tour. A total of 300 runners started.

The popular sports event of the Bavarian-Swabian energy supplier LEW consists of a total of 8 races and will be continued in Illertissen on May 7th. As usual, the finale is the New Year's Eve run in Gersthofen on December 31st. Many thanks for the great organization and great atmosphere!

The result of our KUTTER runners is impressive. In the team ranking, our athletes took a great second place, for which we would like to congratulate them.

Last Friday KUTTER & RIEBEL were part of the "BAM - Your fair for training and dual studies!" with over 80 exhibitors in the Mindelheim Forum.

The fair took place both virtually and one day on site. The lively exchange of information with all interested parties was a lot of fun for us and we look forward to seeing some of you again soon.
